Al-Halbousi reveals the details of his call with Al-Sadr

    Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi revealed today, Thursday the details of a phone call he had collected with Moqtada al-Sadr.

    His media office stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a telephone conversation took place today between Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and Mr. Muqtada al-Sadr.
    According to the statement, Mr. Al-Sadr valued the efforts of the House of Representatives in approving the budget law, and the importance of the parliament’s role in monitoring the implementation of the provisions of the law in an optimal manner, in order to serve the citizen and meet his needs.
