Al-Kaabi calls for an increase in electricity production during the summer

The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Karim Al Kaabi, today, Tuesday, called on the government to provide all capabilities to increase the production of electrical energy during the summer.
The media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Al-Kaabi called on the government to make maximum efforts and provide all capabilities in order to increase the production of electric energy during the summer and the blessed month of Ramadan," referring to "the importance of developing strategic plans to construct the stations and projects needed to produce energy while ensuring its equitable distribution to cities, villages and countryside. "
According to the statement, Al-Kaabi called for allocating sufficient financial amounts from the current year’s budget to the Ministry of Electricity to complete projects for the production of electrical energy, stressing that “Parliament will follow up and verify the disbursement of money and hold accountable the negligent and corrupt, and it will not allow the electricity file to be depleted in the country's economy without real solutions that citizens touch. .
