Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmad Al-Sahaf revealed today, Saturday, the agenda of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif’s visit to Iraq.
Al-Sahaf told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The visit comes in the context of strengthening the efforts of bilateral relations between the two countries."
He added that "the visit will discuss common challenges and the possibility of building on possible opportunities, which will reflect on common interests," stressing that "Zarif will meet the three presidencies and Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein."
It is hoped that Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will arrive in Iraq tomorrow, Sunday, on an official visit to discuss relations between the two countries.
