Sairoon Parliamentary Bloc affirmed on Saturday that there is no political approval yet on the cabinet.
"Discussions and meetings between the political blocs and Prime Minister Al-Kadhemi are continuing and no agreement has been reached on the cabinet," said the representative of the Parliamentary Bloc, Ghaib al-Amiri to Iraqi News Agency (INA), noting that "some parties and blocs want to have representatives in the ministries or the government and take their electoral merit,"
Al-Amairi indicated that "some of the blocs objected to the names that have been nominated for the ministerial cabinet," stressing that "there is no agreement between the political blocs and Al-Kadhemi on a specific ministerial cabinet,"
He explained that the reason for postponing the session until now is because the Prime Minister-designate has not been able to complete his cabinet and send an official letter to the parliament in order to hold the session to vote on the government.
