Speaker of the Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, opened a field hospital in Baghdad to treat people newly infected with the Coronavirus.
"The field hospital was opened in Baghdad, to treat those infected with COVID-19 in the presence of the Minister of Health Jaafar Sadiq Allawi, the President of the Iraqi Forces Alliance, Muhammad Tamim, and MP Ziyad al-Janabi, and the Governor of Baghdad, Muhammad Jaber Al-Atta," Al-Halbousi media office stated in a statement received by Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The hospital is located near Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital next to Rusafa, and it equipped with all medical supplies," statement included.
The hospital with a capacity of 130 beds and dedicated to treating people with Coronavirus and quarantine.
