Speaker of Parliament Muhammad Al-Halbousi discussed with the President of the Republic Barham Salih the file of forming a government.

A statement of Al-Halbousi's office, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that Parliament Speaker Mohamed Al-Halbousi received today, Tuesday, President of the Republic Barham Salih to discuss developments in the political situation in the country and the file of government formation.

The parties stressed, according to the statement, the importance of forming a strong government that represents all components and spectrums of the people, and has a clear vision to implement the reform steps, and be able to meet the requirements and needs of citizens.
