The representative of Dhi Qar Governorate, Nasser Turki, announced today, Tuesday, the resumption of the implementation of the suspended projects in the province.
Turki said in a special statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The House of Representatives voted on the decision to resume the implementation of suspended projects in Dhi Qar, stating that" these projects will provide great job opportunities for the people of the province. "
Turki added, "The recent events that the province witnessed led to stalling and delaying the implementation of projects and the delay in their completion," noting that "the decision voted by the House of Representatives includes the survival of the funds allocated within the development of the regions in the 2019 budget and not being recycled to the 2020 budget."
He stressed, "The resumption of the implementation of 10 suspended projects in the governorate, which relate to schools, hospitals, roads and bridges," pointing out that "there are efforts to develop new and other investment projects within the development of the regions to be implemented during the current year, to provide services and provide great job opportunities for the people of the province."
