    The deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Authority, Abu Ali Al-Basri, revealed three priorities for the next stage. While stressing the absence of a relationship between the PMF and the entities that targeted the American embassy.

Al-Basri said in an interview conducted by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Three priorities will top the work of the Popular Mobilization Command, in the next stage, the first of which is the approval of a final structure for the PMF, the second is coordination of multiple formations and making them organized and equal in numbers by merging the brigades and thirdly the formation of a committee In the PMF to review officials and leaders and to remove any person involved in corruption from his position. "

    He added that "the final decision to appoint a deputy to the head of the Popular Mobilization Authority is entrusted to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the head of the organization, and there are prominent names within the PMF and I am among the candidates, but I am not interested."
