US President Donald Trump confirmed on Wednesday that he had made no "mistake" in tweets hours before the House of Representatives held a voting session to isolate him.
Trump said in a tweet on Twitter: "Can you believe that I will be removed today by the radical left and the Democrats who are doing nothing, while I have done nothing wrong! It is terrible.
In another tweet, Trump wrote: "They just wanted to reach the president. They had no intention of conducting a proper investigation. They couldn't find any crimes.
With nine votes in favor, four against, the Rules Committee approved the six-hour debate, before a final vote on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
And Speaker of the US House of Representatives Democrat Nancy Pelosi announced that the House will vote on Wednesday to direct an indictment against Trump, who - when the lawmakers approve the decision - will become the fourth president in the history of the United States to be tried by the Senate with the intent to isolate him.
Trump is facing an accusation of abusing his authority by calling for Ukraine to investigate Biden seeking to win the Democratic nomination for the presidential elections due next year, and he is accused of obstructing the congressional investigation into this matter, while the US President denies wrongdoing, and denounced the investigation as a hoax.
