Baghdad - INA
The Ministry of Water Resources announced its willingness to store rain water and torrents in order to face the coming summer, indicating that there is a vacuum in the dams and reservoirs to accommodate the falling rains and torrents coming from the eastern side of the country.
The spokesman for the ministry, Awni Diab Abdullah told the Iraqi News Agency: The current indications indicate that there is moderate torrential rain from the eastern side and less rain than last year, stressing that the situation so far is controlled and reassuring, and what happened in the past year cannot happen.
He pointed out that the position of the marshes is refreshing and ready to receive large quantities of falling rain, indicating that there is a vacuum in the dams and reservoirs, whether it is in the Mosul Dam or the Dokan Dam and the low chatter can absorb any amount of water.
