INA - Baghdad Few media sources have shared fake news regarding the security forces activities against the protests occurred recently in Iraq, Security Media Centre (SMC) stated on Tuesday. “Iraqi enemies never hid their evil intentions to target the victorious triumph achieved by the security forces in the war against terrorism. Hence many fake accusations and news campaigns unleashed against the security forces during the recent protest. That’s what the Media and social websites are using currently,” included the statement of SMC. The statement also included that these media sources have dissipated the orders of the prime minister. PM Haider Abadi has ordered to maintain the protection of the protestors and the properties. “The media sources have posted photos and fake papers said to be official letters that return to old events happened in other countries military training wise,” Media Sources have posted earlier photos indicates the training of SWAT forces and slightly red smoke that these sources have used it as a reference for an assault agaınst protestor by the security forces. The statement noted that some media posted a fake, said to be an official letter, regarding the Investigations and Intelligence Agency, Ministry of Interior (MOI), where that receiver missed that it doesn’t contain the logo of the MOI as well as the difference in font size and the old signature of the previous secretary.
