The Integrity Commission confirmed the foiling of an attempt to destroy files of corruption in one of the canceled offices of public inspectors, while referring those involved in the attempt to the judiciary.
A statement by the Commission's investigation department received by the Iraqi News Agency said that it had received information through its own sources about the existence of an attempt to destroy the files of corruption, including documents and records of investigative committees, official communications, recommendations and original books by smuggling them through waste containers after being torn by hand or by destruction devices.
The statement added that the Department of Investigations seized the files and priorities, and investigated what was destroyed, and the containers that I want to smuggle these priorities and files through the office building, and documented the details of the process video and photographic.
