INA - Baghdad A meeting occurred between the Lebanese Ambassador, Ali Deeb al-Habab and the Iraqi Minister of Planning and Trade Salman al-Jumaili where they have discussed reopening the Syrian thoroughfare between Iraq and Lebanon. “This road is important for the trade exchange, transporting the crops and supporting tourism,” Ministry of Planning stated on Wednesday. They also have discussed the mutual economic committee agenda, asserting that the meetings must start soon.
