Salih condoles the death of the artist Sami Abdel Hamid

The President of the Republic, Dr. Barham Salih attributed the artistic and cultural milieu to the death of the leading artist Sami Abdul Hamid.

Following is the text of condolences received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA):

We received with great sorrow and sadness the news of the death of artist Sami Abdul Hamid, one of the symbols of the artistic and cultural movement in Iraq.On this painful occasion, we extend our condolences to the Iraqi people, the artistic family, the families of the deceased and his followers.The deceased had a great contribution to the development of the art movement, in addition to having a shiny track record of creativity and excellence.
