The Civil Aviation Authority, headed by the Director General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, Ali Khalil Ibrahim, on Friday discussed with the delegation of the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia to join the cooperative aviation security program in the Middle East.
The Civil Aviation Authority said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency that the Director General of the Authority met with the Saudi side on the sidelines of the General Assembly's 40th session in Montreal, Canada, to discuss many matters concerning the areas of civil aviation work, especially with regard to cooperation and coordination in the field of aviation security. The two sides also discussed joining the Middle East Cooperative Aviation Security Program (CASP).
