INA - Baghdad World Heritage Committee (WHC) approved to enlist Babylon in the World Heritage List, Ministry of Culture and Tourism stated during the 42nd conference in Bahrain. This came after the WHC reading the reports of the Iraqi ancient marshes and sites as well as the three ancient cities of Ur, Eridu and Uruk. Noting that, Iraq has been delivering reports to WHC that shows the amount of the teams of management and preservation of archaeological sites, and the agenda of the foreign delegations working in these sites.
