UAB: Iraq is the Arab’s best bank governor

    INA - Baghdad Ali al-Alaq, the governor of the Central Bank of Iraq was chosen on Thursday by the Union of Arab Banks (UAB) as the best Arab central bank governor in 2018. This came during the 2018 Arab International Banking Summit held in Paris. The reward has been delivered according to the local and international points of combating money-laundering and terrorist financing as well as improving electronic payment systems, maintaining a competitive exchange rate and filling the gap between the official price and the market price.
