The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Abdul-Amir Al-Hamdani discussed on Tuesday reconstruction File of the old cities in Mosul and Basra with the Deputy Director-General of UNESCO Organization, Nicholas Cassianides, Dr. Ludviku Kalabi, Mr. Paolo Fontani and the Iraqi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, headed by Minister of Higher Education Qusay Al-Suhail.
Al-Hamdani stressed the importance of joint cooperation at the highest levels between Iraq and UNESCO, especially after the relocate the organization's office to Baghdad. Stressing the need to coordinate with the Ministry of Culture issues related with Iraqi heritage and culture.
