INA, Baghdad-
Iraqi Ministry of Finance signed on Sunday an agreement with the World Bank in the section of ‘Power distribution’.
INA correspondent said that ‘the agreement involves the rehabilitation of transmission and distribution lines in the governorates of Basrah, Maysan and Dhi-Qar.
The report mentioned too that the loan approaches 200 m. dollars to be paid off over a period of 15 years. It also points out that ‘the government had been working on this agreement for 2 years.’
