INA - Baghdad Iraq and Italy have discussed the hydropower projects and the rehabilitating the Dam of Mosul. This came during a meeting between the General Secretary of the Cabinet, Mahdi Al-Alaq and the Italian Ambassador to Iraq, Bruno Antonio Pasquino on Thursday. Al-Alaq praised the Italian contribution in the reconstruction fund for the recaptured areas as well as supporting the oil fields and electricity. He also forwarded the government happiness regarding the achievements of TREVI CO in the Dam of Mosul maintenance. “The Dam of Mosul project is considered as an excellent prove regarding the Iraqi-Italian cooperative relations and TREVI CO will keep up the maintenance process,” Pasquino said. Noting that, Italy has lent Iraq $78 million dollars in terms of the current year budget that it is devoted to the ministers of Water Resources, Agriculture and Trade.
