Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi received on Tuesday the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Resident Representative for Iraq Marta Roedis and the delegation accompanying them. They discussed joint cooperation with United Nations programs and ways to strengthen efforts to restore stability in the liberated areas.
According to a statement by the Information Office of the Ministry of Planning and the Iraqi News Agency , al-Dulaimi appreciated the effective efforts of the United Nations programs in Iraq, calling for more international support to enforce the ministry's plans and strategies in the field of sustainable development of various sectors. Work by providing appropriate conditions for the establishment of SMEs in all governorates.
Al Dulaimi pointed to the priorities of the ministry in its vision of sustainable development 2030 aimed at achieving economic development and developing the capacities of public and private sector employees and contributing to the achievement of security and social stability.
