Al-Halboosi visits Baghdad University

‏The Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halboosi visited Baghdad University and met with its President Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein and a number of professors and students.

‏During the meeting, they discussed the educational reality at the university and listened to the most important problems and obstacles experienced by the students in order to work to overcome them and support the scientific process and the solidity of education.

‏The meeting also discussed work on establishing mechanisms of understanding between the parliament and the universities to cooperate between its committees, research centers and advisory bodies in universities.

‏The Speaker affirmed the necessity of cooperation and contact between the Council of Representatives and universities through the attendance of students to the meetings of the Council, and increase scientific seminars dealing with topics on legislation and attended by MPs, as well as benefit from researches and studies in the legislative field.

‏For his part, the President of Baghdad University expressed his appreciation for the visit of the Parliament Speaker to the university, his following-up students' affairs, and supporting the scientific process.
