The Minister of Planning Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi said on Friday that the province of Basra enjoys significant development privileges, and that the Ministry of Planning is working to benefit from them to support development in the province.
He said his media office in a statement received that Dulaimi pointed out that the federal government backed by the House of Representatives, and will take several steps to support the reality of services, at the same time the approval of his ministry on the Basra province plan for 2019, which included more than 200 projects Continuous in the fields of water, electricity, sewage, health, education and infrastructure.
He added that the financial allocations granted to Basra within the budget this year, has improved, and that the province will witness a large workshop in the coming months to complete the projects stalled.
