Iraq recoups 12 million Euros from Spain

    INA - BAGHDAD

    The Committee of Integrity announced upon recouping around 12 million W=Euros from Spain on Sunday.

    This amount is the price of the oil shipments by the Ministry of Oil to one of the Spanish companies in 1988.

    The Recouping Directorate in the committee pointed out that the exact recouped amount is 11.915.440 million Euros.

    This came in accordance with the agreement between Iraq and Spain that was signed in 1988.

    Noting that, this amount of money was frozen by the decisions of the International Security Council.
