Oil prices saw mixed performance on Thursday evening as markets assessed the impact of new US tariffs and concerns about global supplies.

Brent crude: Brent crude futures fell 23 cents, or 0.3%, to $73.56 a barrel.

West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude: US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell 21 cents, or 0.3%, to $69.44 a barrel.

This decline follows a nearly 1% rise in prices in the previous session, reaching their highest levels since February. This decline is attributed to investors assessing the impact of US tariffs on auto imports, as well as threats to impose tariffs on buyers of Venezuelan oil.
