PM discusses the ongoing preparations for the general elections

    INA - BAGHDAD

    PM Muhammed S. Al-Sudani met on Monday with Omar Ahmed Muhammed, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Independent High Electoral Commission - IHEC.

    During the meeting, they discussed preparations for the national elections and the measures needed to ensure a smooth electoral process without any delays, according to a statement by the PM's Media Office - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

    Discussions also covered the IHEC’s procedures for updating the voter registry and the continued registration of new voters to guarantee all citizens’ right to participate in the elections.
