Our national team delegation arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Sunday evening, in preparation for its match against its Palestinian counterpart next Tuesday.
The Iraqi Football Association said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Our national team delegation arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Sunday evening, in preparation for its match against its Palestinian counterpart next Tuesday, in the eighth round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup."
"The Iraqi delegation was accompanied by the President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Dirjal, and the First Vice President of the Association, Ali Jabbar, and the Second Vice President, Younis Mahmoud, with Ahmed Al-Moussawi, a member of the Association's Executive Office, and Mohammed Farhan, the Secretary-General of the Football Association."
According to the statement “The national team is expected to hold official training tomorrow. Monday, at 8:30 PM at Amman International Stadium, which will host the match on Tuesday at 9:15 PM."
In a related context, tomorrow, Monday, at 4:30 PM, a press conference will be held for the national team coach, Jesus Casas, and player Ali Jassim will be with him.
