Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri affirmed on Saturday that the Lebanese resistance is fully committed to the ceasefire agreement.
Berri said in a statement: "Lebanon and its resistance have fully committed to the ceasefire agreement," noting that "the first and last beneficiary of dragging Lebanon and the region into a major explosion is the Zionist entity."
He called on "the Lebanese Army, the judicial and security authorities, and the ceasefire monitoring committee to quickly uncover the circumstances of what happened this morning in the south." He also renewed his call to the Lebanese, especially political forces, to purify political discourse, rally around the state and its institutions, and be aware of the dangers posed by creating pretexts for the enemy.
