Leader of CHP calls for demonstrations in all streets and squares

    Leader of the Turkish Republican People's Party (CHP), Özgür Özal, called for demonstrations in all streets and squares on Friday.

    An Iraqi News Agency (INA) correspondent reported that "Leader of the Republican People's Party (CHP), Özgür Özal, called on the Turkish people to demonstrate in all streets and squares on Friday evening."

    Yesterday, the protests expanded from Istanbul to Ankara, while Turkish riot police fired tear gas to disperse demonstrators who called for the overthrow of Erdogan's government following the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu.
