Today, Secretariat of the council of ministers agreed with UNICCO on build up monument in Cougar area and museum for Isidine in Sinjar to document ISIS crimes.
Secretary general of the council of ministers Mehdi Alalak said to INA reporter, after the meet ending with UNICCO, that “they had agreed on build up monument in Cougar area to document ISIS crimes during their control upon the area in the middle of 2014 till July 2017,as well an Isidine museum in Sinjar, mention that it will document Isidine customs and traditions, and all periods which they through and their geographical distribution and the succession of their princes”.
From his side Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Karim Aso Khan clarified that “ a delegation from the UNICCO make many visits to the area which faced ISIS gangs violations, they meet citizens there and listen to their demands and determined the basic needs for the the area stability and security”.
He continued that “they had agreed on forming joint committees from Secretariat of the council of ministers and UNICCO to locate the monument position and its name and received the offers and chose the suitable one for the purpose which it will build for”.
