Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi al-Allaq, discussed on Sunday with the UN, the re- stabilization in Iraq.
A statement by the Secretariat General, INA received a copy of, said that al-Allaq discussed with coordinator humanitarian affairs of the UNDP in Iraq, Ms. Marta Ruedas, the future steps of the UN programme related to the re-stabilization in Iraq.
The statement added that the main topic on the agenda of the stabilization teamwork’s meeting, scheduled to be held in Baghdad next week, were discussed, besides documents of the UNDP’s opinion concerning the Iraqi side’s vision to the governmental funding mechanisms draft of the programme.
On the other hand, both sides discussed the governmental measures and readiness for the receiver of 50 thousand Syrian refugees with the support of the UNDP, let alone planning for field visits to Old Mosul city.
