Diwaniya Investigation Court approved today the confessions of an accused who blackmailed girls on social media sites.
A statement issued by the Higher Judicial Council mentioned that the accused were doing witchcraft and magic works, and asked the girls to send their photos, and then he would bargain them.
The statement added that after receiving a complaint against the accused, a cell was formed by the Judicial Investigation Office and Qadisiya Governorate Security Directorate, and the accused was lured and arrested.
The accused had mobile phoned containing victims’ photos and dialogues on social media including blackmailing the girls, the statement concluded.
