The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the credentials of the ambassadors of Kuwait, Japan, and Armenia today, Tuesday.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said: "President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid received today at the Baghdad Palace the credentials of the new ambassadors of the State of Kuwait Hassan Muhammad Zaman, Japan Akira Endo, and the Republic of Armenia Ruben Soghoyan," indicating that "Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein attended the ceremony of presenting the credentials.".
During his meeting with the new ambassadors separately, the President of the Republic stressed, "Iraq's keenness to establish balanced relations and build bridges of cooperation with various countries of the world, and its constant endeavor to consolidate security, stability and peace in the region.".
He praised "the strong relations that bind Iraq with the State of Kuwait, Japan, and Armenia, and the continuous development they are witnessing at various levels," wishing the new ambassadors "success in their diplomatic missions.".
In turn, the new ambassadors stressed "their determination to strengthen relations between their countries and Iraq, in a way that serves common interests and develops cooperation and joint work in various fields."
