Earthquake hits Salah al-Din

The Ministry of Transport announced today, Sunday, that the seismic observatories of the Meteorological Authority recorded an earthquake in Salah al-Din Governorate.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the authority's report indicated that the magnitude of the earthquake reached 2.8 degrees and was felt by citizens living near its occurrence near Sharqat."
It added, "The time of the earthquake was at 5:58:11 pm on Sunday."
