Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired a meeting today, Sunday, to discuss the procedures for appointing holders of higher degrees, outstanding students, and those covered by the Law of Progression of Medical and Health Professions.
The Prime Minister's media office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani chaired a meeting to discuss the procedures taken to complete the appointment of holders of higher degrees and top students according to the Food Security Law, in addition to the job grades for those covered by the Law of Progression of Medical and Health Professions, in the presence of the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Health, the Director General of the Federal Service Council, a member of the Service Council, and the Deputy Director of the Prime Minister's Office."
"During the meeting, the Ministry of Finance was directed to approve the latest lists issued by the Service Council, regarding holders of higher degrees and top graduates, to complete the appointment of the second batch of those covered by the appointment from the two categories."
"Directives were given to resolve the issue of vacant positions in the Ministry of Health and submit it to the Ministry of Finance, in order to allocate it to continue appointing as many graduates of medical and pharmacy colleges and medical institutes as possible, who are covered by the law on the progression of medical and health professionals."
