The Babil Police Command announced on Thursday, the capturing of three drug traffickers in possession of firearms in the province.
In a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Babil Police Command confirmed that "in a series of targeted operations, a force from the Southern Narcotics Division, with support from the Special Tactical Unit, successfully arrested three drug dealers. Two firearms, specifically pistols, were seized from one of the detainees."
The statement further clarified that "these operations were conducted based on reliable intelligence, in compliance with judicial arrest warrants issued against the suspects. The necessary legal measures were promptly taken by the relevant authorities."
