Baghdad - INA
The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, warned today, Thursday, of the movements of ISIS remnants in the desert.
Al-Maliki said during his meeting with the media department of the Coordination Framework, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Our nation is great in its history, its people and its leadership," indicating that "Iraq is a democratic state in which there is a peaceful transfer of power and there are understandings and agreements with the presence of the Coordination Framework and the State Administration Coalition.".
He added that "Iraq is a country established based on the constitution and we are keen for our path to be consistent with the constitution and legal contexts," stressing that "the media institutions are confronting a fundamental joint in the battle with the enemy and the national resistance media will face a very great responsibility."
He explained that "part of the counter-media is psychological to create a state of confusion and doubt between the components of the political process and its components and parties," explaining that "the crisis is great and what happened in Syria was unfortunate and was not expected in this form of collapse and surrender."
Al-Maliki warned that "the movements of ISIS remnants in the desert and the sleeper cells of the defunct Baath Party, among the goals of the Syrian crisis, are to stir up the Iraqi street."
