Prime Minister Mohammad S. Al-Sudani inaugurated the 5th Iraq International Book Fair at Baghdad International Fair on Wednesday.
“Prime Minister Al-Sudani toured the exhibition pavilions, noting the participation of Iraqi, Arab, and foreign publishing houses and cultural institutions,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
The statement added, “Al-Sudani reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the cultural movement, Iraqi intellectuals, and initiatives that promote knowledge and raise public awareness”.
It’s to be mentioned that The book fair will run until December 10th, featuring the participation of over 350 Arab and international publishing houses, as well as Iraqi publishers and cultural and media institutions.
