Iraq and the UAE signed, today, Thursday, an executive program for cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research.
A statement by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Naeem Al-Aboudi, and his Emirati counterpart Abdul Rahman Al-Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, signed an executive program for cooperation in the field of higher education and scientific research.".
The statement added that "the bilateral agreement signed for the years 2025 - 2026 - 2027 included contexts of support, documentation and cooperation between the two countries in the educational field and the exchange of experiences and expertise related to the fields of higher education and scientific research, including the exchange of information in academic fields and educational systems in the field of equivalence of university and postgraduate degrees, for mutual recognition of certificates, by the systems in force in both countries, in addition to exchanging the systems in force in the field of evaluating academic programs, institutional accreditation in the two countries, and other various academic fields."
