PMF seize 175,000 Captagon pills in Anbar

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Saturday, the seizure of 175 thousand Captagon pills in Al-Qaim, Anbar Governorate.

PMF stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a force from the Popular Mobilization Intelligence/Anbar Division, in cooperation with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate in Anbar, and with the support of the 13th Brigade, Al-Tufuf, Fourth Regiment, carried out the arrest of the accused named (A.S.), and was able to seize 175,000 Captagon pills in the possession of the accused, in addition to a 9 mm Turkish pistol, which was found inside the tire of a (Jarger) type wheel."

The statement pointed out that "a legal seizure report was prepared for the seized items, and the accused was transferred to the city of Ramadi by a force from the Anti-Narcotics Department to complete the legal procedures."
