The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, will head to the Republic of Azerbaijan tomorrow, Monday, to participate in the Climate Conference.
The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The visit of the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, tomorrow, Monday, to the Republic of Azerbaijan comes in response to an official invitation from the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Heydar Aliyev, to participate in the United Nations Climate Summit (COP29) held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku."
According to the statement "The President is accompanied by a government delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi, and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Agriculture, Water and Marshes, Faleh Al-Khazali, in addition to a number of officials and advisors."
