Iraq’s President, Barham Salih asserted, on Wednesday, Iraq’s keenness to develop its ties with world environment.
Salih hailed during receiving King of Spain, Felipe VI, and his accompanying delegation, the deep rooted relation between the two countries, and the necessity to enhance them in a way to serve the joint interests of the two friendly peoples, referring to Iraq’s keenness to develop ties with its regional and international environment to enhance its place and role in the region.
According to a statement, INA received a copy of, President Salih welcomed the world community’s support to rebuild Iraq, especially the liberated areas, calling upon the Spanish government to actively, contribute in the reconstruction of Iraq on different aspects, lauding Spain’s role and participation in the war against Daesh gangs.
For his part, King Felipe VI, expressed his admire to Iraqis’ steadfastness against terrorism, emphasizing on his country’s desire to consolidating friendship relations and widening cooperation and its readiness in the reconstruction of Iraq.
