Interior Minister discusses prospects for scientific and academic police cooperation in Iran

    Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, discussed on Monday, during his visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, opening up prospects for scientific and academic police cooperation between the two countries.


    "On the sidelines of his presence in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Al-Shammari and his accompanying delegation visited Al-Amin Comprehensive University for Police Sciences, and attended the opening ceremony of the academic year at this university, which includes the first batch of Iraqi students, numbering (68) officers from various formations and classes of the Internal Security Forces in the Ministry of Interior," said the Ministry of Interior in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.


    The statement added that "the total number of seats allocated to Iraqi students is 124 seats to obtain a master's degree in security sciences, including border security techniques, cybersecurity, police management leadership, border guard fortifications, and traffic operations management."


    Al-Shammari discussed, during this visit, opening up prospects for scientific and academic police cooperation between the two neighboring countries at the university, which is considered "one of the solid universities in all security fields."
