Al-Sudani Meets the IMN’s Board of Trustees Chairman

Media Office of the Prime Minister said in statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency INA that Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network, Thaer Hateet Al-Ghanimi.

The statement read “The meeting included discussions on the work carried out by the Board of Trustees since its chairman and members assumed their duties. Prime Minister Al-Sudani emphasized the key role of the Board in strengthening national media, addressing societal issues, and highlighting the government’s initiatives, stressing the need for unified efforts with the Iraqi Media Network leadership and all its divisions to ensure alignment with professional standards.”

It further said that Prime Minister Al-Sudani instructed that all challenges hindering the work of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network be addressed to safeguard its independence and ensure an accurate, professional representation of the positive developments in the country.
