Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority signed today in Amman an executive memorandum with its Jordanian counterpart in order to coordinate the mutual cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Transport transmitted from the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority’s General Manager Ali Khaleel Ibraheem that his authority is looking for more cooperation and coordination in multiple sectors concerning civil aviation and air operations between Iraq and Jordan.
Ibraheem added during the signing ceremony with the Chief Executive of Jordanian Civil Aviation Haitham Mistow that the memorandum included exchanging experiences and powers, and making use of the available capabilities to increase the number of air flights, beside other technical affairs concerning the safety of planes and airports, the statement showed.
The continuous action done by Civil aviation authority with different countries in the world comes with the official directions of the Iraqi Government to expand the services presented to the citizens, the statement concluded.
