INA - BAGHDAD
The Director General of the Lebanese Ministry of Health, Eddie Sinan, confirmed on Tuesday that Iraq is at the forefront of countries providing humanitarian and medical support to Lebanon and has provided a lot.
"Iraq is at the forefront of countries providing humanitarian and medical support to Lebanon during the war, as well as in the field of energy before and after the war," said Sinan to Al-Iraqiya News TV - followed by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.
Sinan added, "The Lebanese appreciate the Iraqi stance that expresses the spirit of brotherhood," indicating that "Lebanon needs more aid in light of the large displacement and losses in the health sector."
"An emergency plan has been prepared since the beginning of the Zionist aggression, to respond to various cases in health institutions. We did not expect the extent of the aggression, danger and genocide to be at this level, which expresses Zionist barbarism," he highlighted.
