Israeli media reported on Sunday, that five Israelis were killed and 50 others injured in a ramming incident north of Tel Aviv.
Preliminary reports indicate that the victims in the ramming were soldiers, with the incident occurring near the entrance to a military base in Glilot, where the truck driver was subsequently shot.
A spokesperson for the Israeli Rescue Union in the central region stated, “Following the unusual incident at the Glilot intersection, medical teams are currently providing assistance to around 20 individuals with varying conditions, and some remain trapped beneath the truck.”
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Israeli police said, “Near Cinema City Glilot, a truck veered off the road and struck several individuals near a public transportation stop.”
Other Israeli media sources reported that five people were killed and 50 others injured, including 10 in critical condition, in a ramming incident targeting dozens of Israeli soldiers near Glilot, north of Tel Aviv.
