Minister of Trade Mohammed al-Ani met the UK Minister or State for Middle East Affairs and North Africa Alistair Burt.
Both have discussed broadening the economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
This cooperation came to direct the economic and trade sectors to achieve real partnerships in terms of high quality goods from UK, said the Media Office of MOT.
On his part, Burt asserted that UK finds Iraq is security and economic wise qualified to attract big UK companies for investment to support the state associations.
Burt added that during the meeting, both sides have decided to make an agreement between Rolls Royce Holdings and Iraqi Airways to adopt new airplanes engines.
UK also is working on expanding the Funding allocations for reconstructing the areas that have been damaged by terrorism.
