Al-Maliki meets US officials of Iraq-Iran affairs file

INA - BAGHDAD

Head of the State of Law Coalition Nori al-Maliki received the US Secretary of State officials of Iraq-Iran affairs file headed by Andrew Beck.

Among the attendees in this meeting is the US ambassador to Iraq Douglas Siliman.

The meeting included talks regarding the political and security updates and the new cabinet in addition to the case of the US troops in the country.

Al-Maliki asserted the importance of completing the new cabinet to reach out a government that is able to do the main duties and face the challenges as well as to fulfill the needs of the people in terms of services, economic growth and job opportunities.

He also called on keeping the joint work and enhancing the mutual relations between the two countries.
