Abdul Mahdi receives an official invitation from the Saudi monarch to visit Riyadh

    PM Adel Abdul-Mahdi held a series of meetings with a number of ambassadors working in Baghdad on the development of bilateral relations and discussing issues of common concern.

    During the meetings, Abdul-Mahdi reviewed the positive developments in Iraq and the Iraqi government's directions towards the reconstruction of the country and all the provinces affected by terrorism and hindered opportunities for growth, and seeking to build a system of joint relations with all brotherly and friendly countries to increase cooperation and exchange of interests. The ambassadors affirmed the support of their countries and governments to the Iraqi government and the readiness to cooperate, coordinate and exchange interests and meet the needs of Iraq in the process of construction and reconstruction.

    The Prime Minister received the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdul Qader bin Shuaa, the People's Republic of China Ambassador Sheng Weicheng, the Canadian Ambassador Robert Paul Jibart, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey Faleh Yildez and the Ambassador of the Mauritanian Islamic Republic Sidi Ould Cheikh Ould Ahmed Aicha.
